The Big Five Series II Leopard Silver Coin

Struck in uncirculated quality and limited to only 20,000 pieces worldwide, the leopard is celebrated for its remarkable and extraordinary qualities and is presented in an official illustrated blister card from the South African Mint. The new obverse features a close-up profile of the leopard facing the right-hand side, whereas the obverse design in series I shows both the head and body of the animal, facing the left-hand side. The reverse design features two halves of the leopard’s face. When two coins are placed together, a complete portrait of the wild cat can be seen.
